CNC Miller / CNC Turner

Hours: Mon – Thu:(39 hours)

Pay: Up to £16.23 per hour

Pentland Material Supply are looking for an experienced CNC 5 Axis Operator to join our expanding business. We specialise in high precision products for use in oil & gas, renewables, and the marine industry along with many others.

Main Responsibilities

• Set and operate 4 & 5 axis vertical milling machines / CNC Lathe Machines

• Operate CNC Machines

• Ensure that quality is kept to the highest standard

• Ensure that maintenance is kept to the highest standard

• Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing

• Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed

• Problem solving

• Communicate effectively with technical departments

• Working to fine tolerances

The Candidate

• Time served engineer or a qualification of a similar engineering discipline

• 3, 4 & 5 axis vertical machine experience

• Understanding of continuous improvement and quality systems

• Great problem-solving skills

• Efficient, logical and professional
